The Office Services Clerk is responsible for the administration and daily operations of the facility, including, but not limited to, reception duties, shipping and receiving, and the coordination and administration of office requests. By and large, the incumbent's main objective is to maintain a neat, clean, safe, healthy and comfortable work environment.
Answer telephones in a courteous and professional manner, direct calls to the appropriate staff member and take messages
Greet visitors and staff in a welcoming and approachable manner
Maintain the tidiness and safety of the office
Order, receive, stock and distribute office supplies
Process and distribute incoming mail, sign for deliveries and prepare outgoing mail and shipments
Operate office machines such as printers, copy machines, fax machines and voicemail systems. Coordinate the repair and maintenance of office equipment
Serve as liaison with Building Management
Participate in office event planning and coordination
Maintain the general filing system and file all correspondence
Assist the HR & Finance departments with various tasks
Perform other related duties as assigned
High school diploma or GED required
Previous office experience or a high aptitude for learning Office Administration
Posses effective oral and written communication skills
Posses proficient computer skills in MS Office applications
Ability to multi-task
Customer service oriented
Detail oriented
Self motivated and resourceful
Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
Background check requiredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
