IGT has openings for Data Analyst in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. Generates ad hoc reports and regular datasets or report information for end-users using system tools and database or data warehouse queries and scripts. Integrates data from multiple sources to produce requested or required data elements. Programs and maintains report forms and formats, information dashboards, data generators, canned reports and other end-user information portals or resources. Creates specifications for reports based on business requests from the Sales team. Uses existing data/reporting and conceptualize, design, create, and validate statistical and analytical reports using both internal and external data. Recommends, leads or participates in the design and implementation of any analytical tools or systems. Uses internal and external data along with technical financial analysis skills to complete client ROI analyses for IGT products. Analyzes the performance and profitability of overall MegaJackpots, Lottery and other product/business segments, Customer Accounts, and floor and machine configurations. Makes recommendations on how to optimize games, mix/configuration, quantity, location, banking, and conversion/replacement opportunities. Leads discussion with sales management regarding results and recommendations. Participates in discussions with client.
Employer will accept Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Statistics or related technical field, followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or in a data/business analyst-related occupation. Experience must include:
1. Perform statistical analysis using technical data mined from computer programs;
2. Organize and interpret data using Microsoft applications, such as Excel, access, VBA, and PowerPoint;
3. Translate technical data analysis into layman business terms; and
4. Three years of experience performing data analysis specific to the gaming industry, including handle, win, payback/hold %, odds, and hit frequency metrics.
Some travel may be required to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
