JOB DESCRIPTION
Key activities include:
Linquest is seeking cyberspace professionals to join a high-performance team supporting HQ Air Force Space Command (AFSPC) Tier 3 Level Cyberspace Network Defense in support of SBIRS ground segment network architecture operations.
Responsibilities include monitoring, analyzing and detecting cyber events for CND situational awareness, attack sensing and warning (AS&W) to include incident reporting/response & analysis (Tier 2/Tier 3).
CND Techniques, Tactics and Procedures (TTP) development and implementation. 24/7 CND crew support operations required.
Job requires periodical support to the Headquarters for DIACAP or to-be Risk Management process
REQUIRED
Experience:
17DXA, 14NXX or IB4X1 AFSCs
DoD Service or Joint cyberspace background in cyberspace network defense or operations
Expertise in system and network incident response, TTP, a strong understanding of TCP/IP, information security, computer networking and Internet technology
DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certifications in A
and Security+.
oHands on experience with firewalls, crypto, system administration, or routing.
oExperience working with Retina or soon-to-be Nessus vulnerability scanning tool, Vulnerability Assessments, or LogRythm (log and event manager) or similar experience
oExperience working any Network Intrusion Detection Systems.
High level of interpersonal, oral and written communications skills
Ability to apply critical thinking skills in a highly dynamic environment
Proficient with MS Office Suite
US Citizenship and an active DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility are required for the position. Ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance may be required
PREFERRED
Experience:
Recent NSA, DISA, USCYBERCOM, US. Army, HQ AFSPC, 24 AF or 24 AF-related units
Certified Critical Infrastructure Security Professional (CCISP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Ethical Hacker, or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
Experience with network incident reporting, incident response (containment, eradication, & recovery) and incident analysis.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, or Computer Science
US Citizenship and an active DoD (SECRET/TOP SECRET TS/SCI clearance) required to be considered for the position.
