Description/Job Summary
The agronomist position will advise producers on fertilizer, seed, and crop protection products. This position will perform soil and tissue testing and monitor and make recommendations on insects, diseases, and weeds. In addition, this position will sell producers the best quality products to meet their operational needs, conduct demonstration plots, and participate in producer meetings.
Responsibilities/Duties
Determine technological processes for planting, fertilization, and plant protection of crops including seed treatments.
Management of agro-technical processes in the cultivation of crops.
Determine cultivation methods for crops on different plots of land, under varying soil conditions.
Make decisions and recommendations on planting seed, crop protection, and harvest timing of grain.
Select the Right Product, Right Acre approach to seed, fertilizer, chemicals and other materials required for plant growth.
Develop complete nutrient management production plans according to the consumers' agronomic and economic needs.
Manage the exploitation of land resources to produce an agriculturally sustainable farming practice.
Represent the company at various functions.
Maintain record the operative documents.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
Required Education
Bachelors or Associate degree in Agronomy or a related area, such as Soil Conservation, Agricultural Education, or General Agriculture.
Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) or Certified Professional Agronomist (CPAg) is a bonus.
Preferred Qualifications
Seed or crop protection sales experience is a plus

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
