The Systems Engineer will be responsible for assisting in the design, leading implementation under the direction of the project manager, troubleshooting, analyzing and maintaining the IT Infrastructure for several DoD networks; including network connectivity and utilization, Windows server administration, VMWare vSphere virtualization, performance tuning, backup and restore, disaster recovery, storage (SAN, NAS, local, RAID), and limited networking. The Systems Engineer identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems. He/she maintains documentation of client networks and systems which will include diagrams, flowcharts, spreadsheets, and written descriptions. The Systems Engineer must be familiar with DoD and IT industry best practices, standards, guidelines, polices, and procedures. The Systems Engineer will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. He/she will perform a variety of complicated tasks, and provide support for escalated trouble tickets.
- Maintaining and patching of all systems to include VMWare Hosts, Windows Servers, SANs, NAS, backup devices, supporting systems and software.
-Updating and maintaining the DoD Vulnerability Management System as well as other DoD mandated reported systems as directed by the government.
- Developing and maintaining systems documentation to include diagrams, flowcharts, spreadsheets, certification and accreditation documentation as required by the Information Assurance Officer and other government accreditation authorities.
- Receiving tasking from project and program management and reporting daily on task assignments.
- Resolving Tier 2 and 3 support tickets.
- Maintaining certifications and other Information Assurance requirements to ensure compliance with DoD 8570, DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides, etc.
- Ensuring systems maintain Service Level Agreement metrics and reporting on variances to those metrics along with impact statements.
- Exchange 2010/2013 Administration.
- Systems Monitoring and Reporting.
- Maintaining Active Directory.
- Some travel may be required.
REQUIRED:
- 8570 IAT Level II Compliance.
- 2 years of experience IT Infrastructure management.
- 2 years of experience engineering/implementing VMWare vSphere ESX 5 or greater infrastructures.
- 2 years of experience administering Microsoft Exchange.
- Applicant selected will be subject to government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to access classified information, and must be able to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must be able to obtain a U.S. Passport.
DESIRED:
- Current Top Secret Security Clearance.
- VCAP, CCNA, CCNP, MCSA, MCSE, MCITP certifications.
- 5 years DoD experience.
Salary will be determined based upon current experience and relevance to position.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
