Duties:
Ensure level of resources in place to meet project needs and profitability targets. Oversee chargeability of all delivery resources within a defined area. Establish and ensure team goals. Deliver assigned metrics for the organization (i.e. revenue, bookings, hours, margin etc.). Impart industry and technical knowledge. Update IDPs and provide training. Oversee engagements and work with project management to develop implementation plans. Provide escalation management pertaining to external customers and business impact analysis. Coordinate all engineering activities with respect to field delivery issues and make sure the technical decisions are effective for business requirements and required solutions. Develop plans for associate engagement, technical requirements and correction of issues. Lead pre-sales initiatives for the area and build technical requirements that meet business directions. Work with pre-sales teams in sales campaigns. Manage all technical growth for the team and advance skills pertaining to technology and new solutions. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
Requirements:
Employer will accept Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics or related technical field and 3 years of work experience in job offered or 3 years of work experience in a computer-related occupation.
Experience must include: 1) Symmetrix; 2) CLARiiON and VNX; 3) FC and FCoE Brocade/Cisco; 4) Data Migration; 5) Project management; 6) Hardware, software and/or operating systems environment; 7) VPLEX Storage Virtualization; 8) XtremIO; 9) Cisco UCS
Experience may be gained concurrently. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
