Under the direction of the Supervisor / Lead Person / Manager, the Machine Operator will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency if the operation of the packaging line. Besides that, the incumbent will take responsibility for adhering to the Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures that are highly important to assure the quantity and quality of the products produced.
The basic duties may include:
- Maintain an orderly and clean work area.
- Comply with the company procedures and policies and maintain regular guidelines.
- Make sure that the packing line is set-up and productively runs in accordance with all the Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Deal with paper work.
- Run various equipment of the packaging line
Requirements
The Machine Operator position requires you to:
- Provide High School Diploma.
- Have prior manufacturing or packaging experience.
- Be able to write, read and communicate in English.
- Be able to make use of various office tools (copy machine, calculator, etc.)
- Be able to operate pallet jack.
- Be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Be able to handle extended walking and standing.
