We are looking for a Community Services Specialist to coordinate and implement activities and programs to benefit the residents of our military housing community. In this role you will design various educational, social and recreational activities, as well as prepare promotional material for these events. In this position you have the opportunity to work with and respond directly to the needs of the residents, and thus ensure that Forest City continues to be a leader in providing exceptional service and comfort to military families. In this role your responsibilities will include:
o Planning and organizing resident activities and community events
o Working and collaborating with other community organizations
o Supporting and contributing to community newsletters
o Providing back-up support to the Resident Services/Community team
o Assisting with collecting resident feedback
To become a valuable member of our team we are looking for the following:
o High School Diploma/GED
o Valid driver's license
o 1-2 years experience with planning and holding events
o Strong customer service orientation
o Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and holidays
o Good communication skills
o Proficiency in MS Office
