Our client is currently in search for an experienced Human Resources Director to become a member of the senior management team. Incumbent will be responsible for the management of all Human Resources functions including recruitment, retention, regulatory compliance, benefits, organizational development, employee relations, and Joint Commission preparedness.
Requirements:
o Bachelor's degree in Human Resources. Master's degree preferred
o Five (5) years' experience in human resources required.
o Minimum of three years supervisory/management in HR in an acute hospital setting is required.
o Must currently be a hospital HRD or Mgr.
o Recent acute care hospital background of comparable size.
o Union experience would be an asset.
o Strong organizational skills.
o Ability to multi-task.
o Demonstrated abilities in leadership, communication and planning. Excellent verbal and written skills.
o Strong word processing skills and familiarity with spreadsheet and database programs.
o Excellent customer service skills.
o PHR or SPHR preferred.
