The Staff Nurse we will choose for this role will assume responsibility for the childbearing family though delivery, labor and postpartum period.
The core responsibilities the incumbent will face with:
- Cope with all the tasks in accordance with the established JCAHO and AWHONN standards.
- Collaboratively practice with the physicians, peers, family / patient and ancillary personnel in order to comply with the demands of the childbearing family in a professional, family-oriented manner.
Requirements
Minimum requirements related to the education, skills and knowledge level:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- From 1 year of surgical / medical OB experience.
- From 1 year of Delivery and Labor experience.
- Participation in annual competency based program.
- Current New Jersey license is a must have.
- NRP within one year.
- CRP certification highly desired.
- IBCLC certification and AWHONN certification.
