As part of the Retail Store Operations Team, the Manager of Store Systems & Productivity is responsible for the successful execution of the Retail Technology strategy in close partnership with the IS Retail Application Delivery Manager. The successful candidate will be a data driven leader that defines and develops business policies and processes related to systems and labor optimization in all stores. They define business requirements that lead to innovative, productive, highly functional on-time technology solutions for the stores. They ensure all implementations are well tested, documented, and communicated to stores. The individual in this role is responsible for defining and measuring the benefits of the implemented solutions. They monitor business needs and industry trends to recommend priorities to support store efficiency / while /enhanc/ ing the customer service experience. /
- Responsible for ongoing support and maintenance of all retail systems including, labor optimization tools, point of sale systems, back office systems and pricing and promotional systems.

- Collaborates with various corporate business partners in the developments and deployment of business process changes, product launches, and critical initiatives that support multi-channel
alignment, exceptional customer service and operational efficiency in stores.

- Partner with the Sr. Manager of Store Operations to conduct needs assessment and data analysis in order to identify program solutions.

- Supports department management in determining overall strategy and best use of new technologies. Researches and maintains awareness of systems improvements and technological
developments; evaluates and recommends enhancements/upgrades as appropriate to improve effectiveness of systems.

- Accountable for pricing accuracy in stores via the work of multiple groups that input data into any systems that will impact POS performance for day to day operations and promotional periods.

- Monitors KPIs related to systems, labor and user performance to address worrying trends and provide labor and productivity guidance to retail leadership

- Oversight of labor optimization and standards. Leads continuous improvement initiatives that impact operational execution while reducing labor expenses.

- Partners with business leaders and IS to define project requirements and justification, facilitate delivery of a solution and resolve all business issues.

- Business point of contact for communicating business requirements, coordinating test case development, and ensuring business training. Accountable for the development of any SOPs related to
systems initiatives. Provide system content as needed to the Store Communication team for system education, rollouts, updates, and problem resolution.

- Participate in the execution of applications development and maintenance activities within assigned areas of responsibility. Ensure work products are complete, fully tested and documented and
meet defined expectations.

- Oversight of IS service level performance and metrics of all systems, access, and hardware in stores. Acts as the business voice in defining and maintaining service level expectations.

- Oversight of labor optimization and standards. Leads continuous improvement initiatives that improve operational execution while reducing labor expenses associated with non-value added activities

- Build and maintain a network of industry peers both within L.L.Bean and externally.
?
- Manage the performance and development of the results-focused systems support team to include but not limited to system administrators and analysts within retail.

- Team provides support to end-users of all business systems applications.
?
- Provide day to day direction, administration and development to assigned direct reports.
Health and Safety Requirement: Ensures compliance with the L.L.Bean Comprehensive Health and Safety program by knowing and following all safety guidelines, policies, procedures and expectations. Take immediate and appropriate action to rectify any unsafe conditions. Ensure compliance of front line employees with comprehensive health and safety program.
-Strong understanding and/or experience with retail technology.
-Experienced in retail technology (POS, WFM, LMS, etc) with a strong curiosity for emerging solutions.
-Experienced in retail labor forecasting and optimized scheduling technology
- Strong Microsoft Office skills especially in advanced use of Excel. MS Sharepoint experiences a plus.
-High sense of urgency with demonstrated ability to work very independently and make effective decisions in a timely manner.

-Four year undergraduate degree in computer science or a related field or a Master of Business Administration degree desired.
-Five to seven years of store leadership or corporate office experience desired.
-Vendor management experience desired.
-Travel 6-10 times per year

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
