We are currently hiring for multiple Driver positions in the San Bruno and San Francisco area. Positions are temp to hire, full time. Schedule is: Monday through Thursday, 10 hours each day with Friday, Saturday and Sunday off. Shift start times are 7pm and end at 5am. Pay rates are competitive and Select Staffing is proud to offer all new hires with ACA compliant benefits after 30 days of employment.
Job Purpose:
Delivers items by preparing, loading, unloading and operating a delivery van.
Job Duties May Include:
Loads vehicle by placing and securing items.
Delivers items to delivery destinations following an established route; operating the vehicle; unloading items; maintaining schedule.
Serves customers by understanding and resolving or forwarding complaints; adjusting orders.
Maintains safe operation and clean appearance by complying with organization operational policies, procedures, and standards, as well as state and local driving rules and regulations.
Updates job knowledge by participating in training opportunities.
Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Skills/
Qualifications:
Prior experience in delivery driving. Example: pizza delivery, floral delivery and/or courier.
Clean driving record for past 5 years.
Ability to drive at night and follow guided directions.
High school diploma or GED required
