Job Description
Responsibilities will include continuous improvement and maintenance of ISO9001:2008/AS9100C quality management system pertaining to internal and external customer and supplier activities. These responsibilities involve creation and submittal of nonconformance and process change request documents. Position adds value by working with Technology, Manufacturing, Planning and other functions to solve problems, prevent nonconformances, and improve processes in a quality management system supporting production of material for the aerospace, biomedical and nuclear industries.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering (or equivalent experience)
At least 5 years of experience in a quality role in a manufacturing environment
Proven ability to successfully implement projects and improvements
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Experience with problem solving, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions
Experience in dealing with external customers on a regular basis
Experience with internal and external quality auditing
Knowledge of and experience applying statistical tools in problem solving
