What is the work you will be doing?
Responsible for seeing that all tasks are performed in a manner with complies with Covidien's commitment to quality.
Possess basic leadership skills with ability to manage a small group.
Possess multitasking and organizational skills to be an efficient operator.
Preventative Maintenance program.
Responsible for requesting supplies needed to keep production equipment running.
Use material handling devices for raw materials and/or finished goods.
Use computer menus and fields following prescribed sequence to start and make minor adjustments for automated equipment.
Feed and position materials to machinery as required. Change and/or make minor adjustments to the machine as needed.
Operate a single non-complex machine or piece of equipment.
Visually inspect or perform measurements on finished goods to ensure conformance to specifications.
Make minor adjustments manually and/or using computerized controls to bring into specifications. Refer the more difficult situations to appropriate personnel.
Stop operation as necessary; make adjustments as required, following prescribed procedures.
Instruct assigned associate(s) in highly repetitive manual duties.
Post transactions in computer system to issue and receive assembly materials, product components, etc to be processed. Post returns of unused materials, and ensure their return to holding/storage locations. Complete manual and computerized documentation for production, downtime, etc. as instructed.
May be required to assist in auxiliary operations such as packing, providing labels, stacking cases or cartons on skids, etc.
Perform Set ups with minimal assistance, including changing dies; adjusting cutters for dimension of cuts; mounting rolls of product and/or product components; setting speeds according to specifications; tensions, and other adjustments.
Monitor operation on continuous basis. Perform periodic scheduled measurement, tests to ensure product quality.
Perform changeovers for various changes in dimensions, product types etc. following prescribed procedures.
Instruct assigned associate(s) in repetitive manual duties. Position materials to assembler stations as required.

Passing score on Minimizer test

High School Diploma or GED
