ExecuTech Strategic Consulting is seeking a Subject Matter Expert - Archsight (Advisory Staff Specialist ll) to support the Army's Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM).
As a Security Information Management System (SIMS) Subject Matter Expert ( Advisory Staff Specialist II ) you will provide services in support of information technology (IT) for the Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM), Assistant Chief of Staff, G-5 (ACofS, G-5). You will provide functional expertise to infuse the SIMS NetOps Capabilities into the Army's global Enterprise from the site level up. Your will provide NetOps engineering support for the integration of the SIMS solution into the Army's global Enterprise from the site level up, consisting of, but not limited to, ArcSight Enterprise Security Manager (ESM), ArcSight Database, ArcSight Consoles, and ArcSight Loggers. Assist the Government in performing analyses of performance, risk, and ability to produce required results, gap analysis, and other system or program requirements for NETCOM to develop a system design to support assigned Army Enterprise NetOps capabilities. _This is a fully-funded position in Ft Huachuca, AZ. _
Highlights of
Responsibilities:
Document system support requirements for Tech Infusion of ArcSight in the Army Enterprise.
Evaluate input/output processes and working parameters for ArcSight HW/SW compatibility.
Coordinate design of subsystems and integration of total system.
Analyze and resolve program support deficiencies. Provide NetOps engineering support for NetOps capability deployments and continuing operations of deployed NetOps capabilities. Assess NetOps operational and functional baseline being implemented at all echelons of the LandWarNet.
Provide recommendations in developing industry vision and strategic direction with regard to the Army Enterprise design and integration of NetOps capabilities specific to the Data Center effort and across the LandWarNet.
Draft and recommend the processes and procedures to the Government for determination of IT inadequacies and deficiencies that affect the NetOps solution's ability to support organizational goals and provide required NetOps services.
Generate NetOps strategies for enhanced IT operations. Participate by providing technical guidance in strategy sessions, strategic assessments, and design reviews of NetOps capabilities to validate Army Enterprise approach.
Provide Tier III break/fix support to resolve highly complex incidents
Required Skills
Requirements:
Current Active Secret Security Clearance and or the ability to obtain one.
Current IAT II level certification (Sec+, GSEC, SSCP).
Seven (7) years of experience in implementation and sustainment of NetOps capabilities across all operational and strategic echelons in the LWN to include Joint components in support of the Army's GNE/NSC. Experience in systems analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and engineering.
Industry work experience in ArcSight ESM and 3PAR
Knowledge of Windows and Linux STIGs and DISA's current hardening protocol .

Extensive technical expertise in cross platform Windows and Red Hat Linux stand-alone server and virtual server environmental expertise in integrating with Active Directory (AD), and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) is required.
