Summary of
Responsibilities: Responsible for understanding business needs, developing code, testing, and analyzing software programs which create business value . This includes reviewing user submitted requests, closely working with users to ensure all specifications are clarified and business value identified, researching, designing, documenting applications throughout the production life cycle. This position will also analyze and amend software errors in a timely and accurate manner, and provide status reports. Primary Duties:
Develop and assist in the design and conceptualizing of new software programs and applications working closely with end users.
Research and document requirements for new programs or system modifications.
Help users think through requests and identify details.
Be able to discuss technical trade-offs in business terms.
Focus on quality when coding and testing software applications according to approved specifications.
Run and monitor software performance tests on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging.
Provide critical analysis of test results and deliver solutions to problem areas.
Provide updates and communicate progress on programming projects using Request Tracker.
Assist in the development and maintenance of user manuals and programming guidelines.
Develop programs and scripts adhering to departmental standards and procedures.
Conduct research on emerging application development software products, languages that are used or applicable to the S&S; programming environment.
Recommend and perform software improvements and upgrades that grow revenue and reduce operating costs.
Become knowledgeable to support on call duties for problems on second shift or emergencies, as well as verify system operation logs for successful completion of overnight processing jobs. Position: Analyst Programmer Dept: IT Page 2
Qualifications: College degree with emphasis in computer science, or equivalent. 4
years programming experience required in a relational database environment Programming experience with Informix, Genero along with an understanding of PHP Business experience with understanding how technology can be used to make improvements Prior experience in a manufacturing / distribution environment Analytical and detail oriented Good diagnostic skills and ability to identify and quantity problems Creative problem solver Good listening skills Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to relate and communicate effectively with users who may have limited computer knowledge Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn Able to work effectively as a team member Good or corrected vision Note: While efforts have been made to insure the accuracy of this position description, it is not warranted to be an exhaustive recitation of all position duties; the incumbent may be required to perform duties beyond those listed above. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
