What are the job responsibilities? At Voya, our Credit and Market Risk Specialist will have the following
Responsibilities:
o Conduct the planning, execution, and documentation of internal audits of complex organizational and financial activities, primarily related to investment management and enterprise risk management activities
o Review and evaluate internal control systems and policies and procedures.
o Prepare and review audit planning documents, audit procedures, and draft reports for approval by an audit manager, Sr. specialist and audit director
o Interact with customers for the purpose of analyzing problems, developing alternatives, building consensus, and supporting implementation of solutions
o Must be effective in communicating (both written and verbal) results from the evaluation of internal controls. Able to provide recommendations for improvements to management and responsible for follow-up to ensure implementation of recommendations
o Collects analyzes, interprets and verifies information to determine whether records and reports contain accurate, reliable, timely, complete and useful information; and to determine whether controls over records and reports are adequate and effective
o Provides subject-matter expertise to other members of the audit department and the business as needed
o Ensures the accurate implementation of the audit projects for areas assigned
o Analyze regulations and industry developments to understand impacts and ensure compliance with rules
o Other duties as assigned

Who is our ideal candidate? o Bachelor's Degree in business related majors (Accounting / Finance), Risk Management, or other majors with quantitative background
o Advanced degree and/or professional designation preferred (CFA, CPA, CIA, MBA)
o Advanced knowledge and understanding of asset classes, investment vehicles/processes, and their risks is required
o Must have at least completed level 1 of the CFA exam or equipped with equivalent experience
o 5 years of audit experience in the investment management business, with focus on market, credit and liquidity risks. Mastery of audit and core competencies
o Knowledge of USGAAP preferred
o Experience in the insurance industry a plus
o Experience in a public accounting or consulting environment a plus
