Seeking experience as a Director, Business Unit Manager, Operations Executive or similar to join global manufacturer of sophisticated robotic machining center production lines used by the automotive power train parts manufacturing industry.
Requires take charge leader to independently oversee and grow business unit and be responsible for Finance, Sales, Engineering, Assembly and Fabrication, Installation, and Commissioning as well as Post Delivery Service and Support.
Key Activities:
Developing unit plans and strategies.
Establish budget and be responsible for profitable performance.
Key customer contact.
Recruit and develop management and technical team.
Maintain smooth and stable operations.
Work closely with cross functions, other business units and legal on financially significant ($millions) quotes and contracts.
Resource and inventory coordination and scheduling
Source and develop contractors, vendors and suppliers.
Capital equipment acquisition.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety and environmental issues.
