The Manager, Business Planning, Transactional will support the Director of Business Planning on Budgeting and Forecasting the Transactional (Video on Demand, Pay Per View, Optimum Digital, Digital Sports) and Consumer Optimum Online businesses. Responsibilities include compiling, synthesizing, and analyzing critical financial, statistical, and operating information.
Summary of
Responsibilities:
Prepare budget and quarterly forecasts. Manage revenue models to incorporate actual results. Develop weekly and monthly analysis and reporting.
Develop presentations and variance analyses to senior management.
Provide analysis to support Programming relationships and negotiations.
Participation on cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve data issues (i.e. billing and other operating issues, key metrics.)
Prepare and distribute monthly Video on Demand and Pay Per View revenue and expense accrual entries to Accounting.
Oversee the development and maintenance of key databases (Transactional and Optimum Online businesses).
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelors degree in business, finance or related field. MBA preferred.
8
years experience in an analytical position including financial and operating planning analysis, financial performance evaluation, budgeting and forecasting
Must have strong financial modeling skills along with the ability to compile, synthesize large qualities of data and perform detailed level analysis.
Must have experience developing clear & concise executive level presentations.
Strong presentation and communication skills.
Advanced Excel and MS Access skills required.
Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative, team environmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
