IT Security Lead / Project Manager, Global Infrastructure Team

BIS WHQ IT is seeking a results oriented, high-potential candidate to provide strategic and execution focused leadership as the Manager of our IT Security function. This position will have a combination of daily management responsibilities as well as for the delivery of key projects working within WHQ and with operating companies around the world. This position reports to the Senior Manager IT Operations & Global Infrastructure.
The BIS IT strategy is based on global strategic systems to support sales, service, back office and field operations. The WHQ infrastructure team is a critical part of this strategy and is responsible for supplying the infrastructure for these global systems, as well as working with the local IT teams to provide support. The BIS infrastructure and operations strategy is based on a leveraged outsourced model, managed by WHQ resources at Farmington WHQ, as well as regionally in Americas, Europe and Asia. Resources in the department work with key infrastructure suppliers, including a significant component of off-shore support.
Job responsibilities will include:
- Define and communicate a UTC-aligned IT Security strategy that addresses the BIS business requirements.
- Deploy world class technology and streamlined security processes to protect the global BIS environment.
- Manage the IT Security team, consisting of employee(s) and (as necessary) contractors to implement projects related to IT Security. Supervise, coach, evaluate and assist as needed. Drive performance of the BIS IT Security operations and Incident response teams.
- Lead and guide in the design, execution and support of multiple IT security related initiatives.
- Contribute to the UTC Enterprise Security Roadmap.
- Develop and deploy actionable metrics that identify and mitigate the highest risk areas in BIS.
Business Unit: UTC Climate, Controls & SecurityEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
