The Production Supervisor will provide day-to-day leadership for manufacturing operations through monitoring of total production process to ensure that safety, quality, production, and cost goals are met. Provide appropriate training to operating personnel to ensure that the necessary skills are developed to meet business needs. Support and reinforce the implementation of Continuous Improvement Process to deliver measurable and sustainable improvements. Deliver shared base business requirements and operating results including Recordable Injury Rates, departmental cost, labor productivity, inventory management, efficiency, and unplanned downtime. Excel in leading teams and individuals through problem solving, prioritizing issues and opportunities. Must be highly motivated and assertive with a strong commitment to succeed.
Production Supervisor works to ensure that production schedules are met and shipments to customers are completed on time. The administrator works with sales, divisional planning, plant planning, purchasing, production and shipping to expedite product through the manufacturing organization.
Key
Responsibilities:
Manage the coordination of departmental functions to ensure the assigned production area is operating to the highest standard of safety, quality, customer service, and financial objectives. This includes leading hourly associates while working closely with others through mutually supportive contributions and effective interactions. Directly supervise 2 - 3 hourly Production Team Leaders across the manufacturing shifts supporting a workforce of 30 to 40 hourly production associates.
Determines the work schedule based on customers' orders and the availability of raw materials and production capacity; creates and presents different production scenarios to the management team in order to enable the decision making process around the plant budget, such as absorption rates, DL staffing, IL production support and coordinates work with purchasing to ensure that production materials are available and adjust the schedule when necessary.
Compiles, analyzes and presents process output information, such as productivity measures, materials inventories, manufacturing variances, quality data so that KPI reports can be completed. The Production Supervisor is the super-user of the ERP system and is in charge of training new and existing users on the systems best practices.
Allocates various tasks to the process leaders in the manufacturing process, to ensure timely delivery of goods to the customers.
Keep a record of all the inventory materials that are essential for the manufacturing process.

Experience:
1 - 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
Demonstrated ability to effectively interact, influence, and communicate with multiple levels of the organization as well as to plan, organize, and prioritize work based on business need and available Supervisors.
Proven experience leading short and long-term improvement project work.
Experience with EPICOR ERP system or similar
Demonstrated experience in motivating a workforce in a manufacturing environment.
Proven ability to implement and manage flexibility and change in the work environment.
Skills and Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
Computer skills i.e. MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, ADP, etc.).
Ability to work effectively in a team environment, and as an individual contributor
Ability to create, analyze, and present general business data,
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference; Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Education Level/Degree:
AS/BA/BS degree or equivalent experience

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
