Work Hours : Must be available Eastern Standard Time regular business hours
The Business Consultant is responsible for gathering and documenting requirements, conducting multiple types of analysis, and translating the business needs into application software requirements. Possesses full technical knowledge of most phases of systems and business analysis and is able to consider the business implications of the application of technology to current and future business environments. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Leadership to provide technical assistance to lower level staff.
Determines specific business application software requirements to address complex and varied business needs.
Creates production regulatory/compliance/management reports, as well as any necessary ad hoc reports
Analyzes and designs solutions to address complex and varied business needs.
Develops process improvement strategies
Develops technical infrastructure (e.g. databases, datamarts)
Creates and maintains databases
Consults with business partners concerning application and implementation of technology.
Requires:
BS/BA degree (preferably in related field), 8 - 10 years of data analysis experience, which should include experience with relational databases and knowledge of query tools and statistical software, analysis, project management, working knowledge of mainframe computer, hardware and operating systems, and ability to manipulate large sets of data; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
