BAE is looking for a high impact individual to perform systems engineering analysis and
coordinate emergent Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) engineering
issues for a major acquisition program within Department of the Navy .
Perform
systems engineering analysis and coordinate emergent Hull, Mechanical, and
Electrical (HM&E) engineering issues between the various stakeholders.
Provide Systems Engineering support in the following
areas: Arrangements,
Aviation Issues and Certification, Auxiliary Systems (HVAC &
Refrigeration, Fluid Systems, Air Systems, etc.), electrical power generation and distribution,
Topside Design, Propulsion Shafting, Structures, and Shock Issues.
Coordinate,
participate in, and prepare minutes/action items for technical meetings
including the Ship Program Review (SPR) System Reviews, HM&E VTCs,
Top Tech Issues, Liaison Visits, and emergent engineering issue meetings.
Support Acceptance and Final Contract Trials (FCTs) by
witnessing/participating in tests and certifications; providing recommendations
on emergent engineering issues and to investigate & resolve screened trial
cards.
Ability to travel for Ship Program Review (SPR) System Reviews,
Top Tech Issues, Acceptance, and Sea Trials.
The candidate must be able to obtain an interim
clearance within 60 days. Candidate must be able to travel to, from and within
the Navy facility several times a day, and travel within the domestic U.S.A.
Required Skills and Education
Required education: Bachelor Degree
BS in an engineering field
10 years shipyard new construction production and/or ship alteration experience.
Knowledge with marine HM&E Systems
Experience in acquisition program management and/or design
integration
Experience working with drawings and Installation Control Drawings
Customer relations experience in
communication with developers and design agents, to manage technical issues and
schedules.
Ability to travel for Ship
Program Review (SPR) System Reviews, Top Tech Issues, Acceptance, and Sea
Trials.
Excellent communication
skills
Proficiency with MS Office suite applications
Preferred Skills and Education
Experience with NAVSEA, Acquisition Program Office and/or NSWC

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
