Technical Compliance Auditor Advisor
Richmond or Virginia Beach, Virginia
Responsible for taking an advisory role within the IT risk management and audit support management functions for the IT organization, with a focus on the Government Business Division. Specific responsibilities include:
IT Risk Management
Supports the overall efforts of the Anthem enterprise IT risk management program.
Responsible for assisting in the coordination of implementation tasks and development of sustainable processes in support of an enterprise GRC tool.
Responsible for taking an advisory role in regular meetings associates from all IT areas to help ensure that the appropriate focus remains on risk identification and reporting of all risks identified in the environment.
Executes and reports on risk assessments at the enterprise, application, and database levels.
Assist in the production of IT risk management metrics.
Audit Support
Assists in the monitoring, tracking, and reporting of Internal Audit findings, as well as provide External IT Audit support for WLP's SOX and SOC1 testing activities.
Supports the Audit Life-Cycle methodology and collaborates among the teams to resolve issues related to multiple areas.
Partners closely with representatives from IT areas, including Audit leads from other business areas, to develop remediation solutions to ensure that the overall audit goals are achieved.
Incorporates external and internal audit risk findings into the enterprise system to present a comprehensive view for management reporting.
General
Support strategic direction, goals and objectives for each of the above responsibilities.
Leads related projects with limited supervision.
Project responsbiliblties include:
o Develop individual tasks and project plans for small work groups
o Conduct timely project meetings
o Regularly report on project progress and raise issues timely
o Produce documentation and artifacts in support of individually assigned projects and newly developed processes for management
o Support monthly metrics and accomplishment reporting
o Participate in framework staff meetings
Requirements
BA/BS degree;
6 years experience in Information Technology audit and risk management;
or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Candidates are preferred to possess at least one of the following certifications:
o Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
o Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC).
Experience leading and executing IT risk management projects, including knowledge of industry standard frameworks (COSO, NIST, etc.) required.
Proficient understanding of audit and regulatory requirements and standards (CobiT, ITIL, SSAE16, SOX, etc.) required.
Proficient desktop skills (MS Office-Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint and Project) required.
Experience with audit and risk management tool sets and solutions required.
Strong written and verbal communication skill required.
Ability to articulate information/results and present information in written or verbal communications to management staff is required.
Excellent organization and time management skills required.
Ability to work in team environment and mentor others required.
