This is an opportunity to join one of America's most beloved B2C companies and a Sr. Systems Engineer working in Internet Operations. This is essentially a Linux Engineering role with Cloud Infrastructure.
Primary duties will include building and maintaining monitoring services that can scale to millions of metrics a minute; building a hybrid cloud platform using Openstack; streamline deployment, maintenance and monitoring processes; and provide development and systems admin support.
This is a very visible role within the organization.
Here is what we need:
Linux systems admin experience to include Puppet/Chef, Kickstart, and Scripting in a production environment
Experience in installing, configuring, and maintenance of a Cloud infrastructure (Openstack, libvirt, Eucalyptus, etc.)
Experience working with a 500
instance production AWS environment
Some experience setting up a large graphite cluster
Scripting experience (Bash, Python, etc.)
Plusses include LXC or Docker container experience, Django framework, nodejs, javascript, etc.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
