The Department of Public Health is recruiting for Public Health Nurses I who provide assessments of individuals, families and communities. Duties include case management, including coordinating and assisting with access to care; developing treatment plans; providing consultation on medical, dental and behavioral health assessments; acting as a nurse liaison with public and private agencies, providing assessments and referrals for school district students; and conducting disease control measures. The resulting eligible list may be used to fill other vacancies as they occur.
License: Must possess and maintain a valid license as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.

Certification: Must possess and maintain a valid California Public Health Nurse certification.
