Parts and Service Sales Representative - Engine

Ransome is searching for an experienced outside sales person - focusing on power generator and marine engine parts & service sales. This person will be responsible for managing and growing the customer base in New Castle County, DE and Delaware County, PA by selling our parts and service capabilities.
Knowledge of diesel/natural gas engines and power generation equipment preferred.
Product Support (Labor Sales and Parts) sales representative
Customer liaison for product support issues
Provide knowledgeable options to customers to assist them in managing their equipment
Input and utilize information concerning customers and market conditions through the Customer Relations Management (CRM) software and database
Communicate with Regional Manager to investigate inquiries, issues, or customer satisfaction concerns
Participate in periodic Branch Sales Meetings, providing insight into business opportunities, customer issues, and market conditions
Manage Service Agreements
Act as a communication conduit to and from the customer with all divisions in Ransome, ensuring that appropriate responsible personnel are contacted when necessary
Achieve sales goals for Parts and Service, including commodities, extended warranties, preventive maintenance, CSA's, and other targeted programs
Expand the number of active customers in the territory
Represent Ransome in a professional and businesslike manner
Continuous technical and professional growth; learn new products, skills, and processes
Previous power generator parts and service sales experience preferred
Mechanical experience required
Proven customer service and sales track record
Superior organizational and interpersonal skills including the self-discipline to report sales calls, follow-ups, and access CRM software
Strong oral and written communications skills
Strong presentation skills
Strong technical and sales skills
Attention to detail and analytical abilities
Works well under pressure
Technical ability to understand and operate sophisticated equipment
Ability to investigate, determine, explain, and resolve discrepancies in both equipment performance and processes execution
High school education or more advanced degree desired
Excellent driving record
