This company segment has unique expertise in applying chemicals and supporting pulp and paper producers to innovate and constantly improve their operational efficiency and end product quality. We are looking for an individual to be responsible for all process engineering activities performed, which includes improvements, modifications, new project development and implementation.
Your responsibilities will include:
Having an understanding of safety and environmental regulations are critical to the successful implementation of all activities.
Responsible for solving production problems which could lead to off-quality product, and maximizing the efficiency of the process
Ensure that personnel safety, process safety, safety culture and security practices are in accordance with principles and procedures.
Responsible for providing technical support to the sales and marketing team as needed to enhance customer satisfaction.

Experience:
Typically university level (Bachelor's degree, in Chemical Engineering or related field)
Technical skills in process flow, capacity modeling, materials compatibility, project engineering, national engineering equipment standards (ASME, ANSI, etc.) and corporate engineering standards
Knowledge of regulatory requirements (OSHA, EPA, PSM, etc.) as they apply to processes and equipment is a plus.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required, as well as persistence, being detail oriented and self motivated.
