Smartlink is searching for a Civil Engineer Intern.
The Civil Engineer Intern will support the Architecture and Engineering team with the structural design of cell tower sites.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Assist the Project Engineer and A&E Manager in reviewing structural calculations.
Input and maintain data in the structural design and calculation software utilized by the A&E team.
Utilize AutoCAD to support the drafting of wireless cell site towers.
Job Requirements:
Basic understanding and use of AutoCAD.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications preferred.
Previous experience with tnxTower, RISA 3D or STAAD Pro a plus.
Excellent computer and internet skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Must be results oriented and a team player.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Sound judgment, quick thinking, and poise under pressure are also required.
Education and
Experience:
Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering is preferred.
0-3 years of experience in civil engineering.
Interest in structural engineering is desired.
Travel Requirements:
0% travel required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
