Smartlink is looking to hire an IT Infrastructure Intern.
The IT Infrastructure Intern will support the IT department's infrastructure team by assisting in providing desktop and helpdesk support for our nationwide, decentralized, workforce.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Develop a basic understanding of hardware.
Create an asset management tracking system.
Assist with the refinement of Active Directory user accounts.
Interface with outside IT vendors on an as needed basis.
Contribute to special projects and assignments as needed.
Job Requirements:
Strong written and oral communication skills required.
Preliminary understanding of hardware desired.
Experience with Microsoft operations systems is desired.
Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
Ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Strong customer service orientation.
Education and
Experience:
Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology or Information Systems is preferred.
Travel Requirements:
0% travel required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
