Smartlink is searching for an Accounting Intern.
The Accounting Intern will support the Finance department by working with the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Assist the Accounts Receivable team with billing by creating invoices and entering them into the customer/client site or mailing them out accordingly.
Support the Accounts Payable team by matching invoices and entering data into the accounting system.
Enter financial data into Excel reports and validate for accuracy.
Contribute to special projects as needed.
Job Requirements:
Excellent computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Must be results oriented and a team player.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Sound judgment, quick thinking, and poise under pressure are also required.
Education and
Experience:
Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
No previous accounting/finance experience required.
Travel Requirements:
0% travel required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
