We are seeking for an Area Manager, you will drive operation metrics to meet the daily, weekly and monthly goals of production as well as oversee inventory management for their Building(s).
This is a Full Time direct role with an Aerospace Fortune 500 Company around the Santa Clarita, California Area.
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Analyzes, establishes, and communicates performance standards to all operations supervisors, working leads and lead employees.
Assists in the development and implementation of new or improved manufacturing production control systems.
Meets with team members regularly, reflecting on problems, solutions, and challenges; thereby creating a culture of continuous improvement and contributing toward becoming a learning organization.
Implements and coordinates cross training of department employees to ensure the elimination of all skill gaps, resulting in a more skilled and adaptable workforce.
Ensures the completion of required competency forms and certifications, as well as maintains an employee skill matrix.
Instills and maintains a positive, can-do team atmosphere; holding regular team meetings, assigning team members' tasks, and coordinating required support services needed. Uses area boards to ensure results.
Administers policies and procedures as required.
Complies with all environmental safe practices and regulations.
Conducts EH&S self-inspection and safety huddles in areas of responsibility.
POSITION
Qualifications:
The following is a list of skills, abilities, training, education, experience, values, interest and /or talent the Area Manager will be expected to possess and demonstrate:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred
Black Belt (must be able to show project)
APICS Certification preferred

years supervision/leadership experience in a related position
Basic Math (addition, subtraction, and division)
Performance Management
Problem solving in areas where limited standardization exists
Analytical
Strong negotiation skills
Highly organized
Effective verbal and written communication
Interpersonal skills
Intermediate to advanced use of MS Work, Excel, Access, Outlook and ERP/MRP
Demonstrated understanding of scheduling systems, inventory management, and capacity planningEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
