We are seeking for a Senior Engineering Manager for this Aerospace Fortune 500 Company. You will manage and direct the activities of the Manufacturing Engineering department. The Engineering Manager serves as the primary source of technical information for the organization and its Customers.
This is a Full Time Direct opportunity near the Santa Clarita, California area.
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Evaluates new or potential work secured or that may be secured by the organization to determine technical requirements.
Evaluates Customer change orders for their costs of implementation and schedule impact.
Assigns work to subordinate engineers based on their experience, talent and training.
Interfaces with management, Customers and suppliers for the purpose of discussing and communicating technical requirements.
Acts as a resource for solutions to problems encountered by the organization's manufacturing, quality and programming departments.
Evaluates and dispositions (approves/denies) requests for engineering changes

Qualifications:
The following is a list of skills, abilities, training, education, experience, values, interest and /or talent the Engineering Manager will be expected to possess and demonstrate:
A Manufacturing Engineering degree from an accredited college or university or the equivalent (minimum 15 years) in work experience and training in the airframe, structural component manufacturing industry.
Must be able to accurately interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, procedures and purchase orders.
Must be competent in the use of personal computers.
Must possess and demonstrate knowledge in the use of CATIA (Computer aided design software) and MRP/ERP (Material Resource Planning/Enterprise Resource Planning) systems.
Must possess and demonstrate the ability to lead, guide, direct and manage human resources toward the accomplishment of organizational goals.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
