Home Health Director of Nursing (DON)
We are seeking an experienced Home Health DON with Medicare and Oasis experience to guide, lead and build a fast growing, result oriented Home Healthcare Facility in Lake in the Hills, IL. The Director of Nursing will be responsible for the coordination and serving as a liaison with appropriate parent and affiliate departments and committees, the development of policies and guidelines for clinical personnel, and providing professional input to related administrative systems. You will direct and supervise professional and auxiliary personnel rendering patient care services, performing marketing duties and communicating the concept of quality client care to the general community. The Director of Nursing will have primary responsibility for leadership and supervision to ensure that key process indicators are met.
Responsibilities
The DON has 24-hour accountability for the quality of care delivered to all Patients. Insures a comfortable, orderly and safe environment conducive to good patient care in compliance with physician orders.
Instructs and evaluates all levels of assigned personnel
1. Must have Home Health Management experience
2. Must have at least 3-4 years of Home Health Care Management experience
3. Must be licensed in Illinois (RN License Only)
4. Have an outstanding desire to provide great customer service and creative clinical management
5. Excellent written and verbal skills a must
6. Must be a working hands on Management experienceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
