Java Developer Job Description
The initial project the new consultant will be working on is a web based eCommerce B2B application. The consultant will work within an Agile team environment, delivering business-valued functionality in innovative ways.
This project is of high importance to our client and has aggressive milestone dates. The ideal candidate will be a self-starting individual that loves challenges and winning together with his/her team.
Java Developer Required Skills
4
years experience working with enterprise solution delivery
Must have experience with following languages/tools/technologies:
Java
Spring (MVC, Security (including SAML), DI)
SOAP, JAXB, REST
JDBC, RMI
Linux Environment
Eclipse, SVN or similar
Experience working in an Agile based development environment, using Agile concepts such as Continuous Integration and TDD
TDD with JUnit or any other unit testing framework.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with other developers and business client
Time management skills & ability to multitask
Knowledge of design patterns, SOLID principles, particularly Dependency Injection
Database development skills including SQL programming, solid understanding of relational database technologies, logical and physical data modeling.
Experience developing REST and/or SOAP based web services with application reuse as an achieved objective.
Strong understanding of XML and how to manipulate using document based and stream based API's
Java Developer Preferred Skills
Experience with Mockito or any other mocking framework
Experience with Jasmine, Cucumber, JMeter
Keen eye for UI design aesthetics and attention to detail
Experience with Javascript, Angular, Ionic, Cordova
Java Developer Location
The consultant will be on site 3-4 days a week in Franklin Park, IL and the other time will be spent in the Chicago office.

ASAPEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
