CPA firm seeking an IT Audit and Operations Consultant for its Process and Controls Consulting practice in West Hartford, CT. The professional in this role will specialize in providing consultative services to middle-market/large organizations.
Responsibilities:
Collecting and assimilating data; understanding and documenting internal controls for organizations': process/data/workflow
Testing internal controls related to company information assets and financial reporting
Performing risk assessments in regards to compliance standards
Managing and taking ownership of multiple projects
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in information technology, business, accounting or a related field is required
Technology and/or audit experience preferred
Knowledge of IT General Controls (ITGC) and SOX control testing
Ability to problem-solve and think both creatively and logically
Ability to create various types of reports: presentations, findings/recommendation and workflow documentsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
