Navision Programmer (Contractor position)

Our client, a leader in the IT/Electronics renovation industry, is currently seeking a Navision Programmer for the implementation and development of new Navision-based solutions and the maintenance of existing systems. Candidates should be self-starters with a broad business background.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Responsible for technical design, configuration, implementation and customization of the application.
Work closely with business analyst and management to define system requirements and modify, customize, and build modules within Dynamics NAV.
Works collaboratively with internal departments in the planning and analysis of business systems requirements, system changes or enhancements. Defines business processes as they relate to system enhancements.
Primary point of contact for issue resolution as it relates to Production level issues. Responsible for troubleshooting and coordinating resources needed for resolution.
Develop custom reports for varies internal departments under Nav, SQL Report server, and Jet Report
Working closely w/ MS SQL Server
Develop new functionality with NAV system
Maintain existing code
Work closely with company managers to design new functionality
Plan and implement integration processes to other applications
Assist in improving business processes
Qualifications (required):
Bachelor's degree in business, technology or engineering or related field is required, MBA preferred
Applicants must have experience of working within the Microsoft Dynamics NAV environment for minimum of 5 years with the ability to follow development best practices
Experience working with NAV and SQL Server
Working experience in developing NAV reports with SQL layout
Knowledge of posting process and data flow in NAV Ability to debug and troubleshoot issues related to NAV code
Understanding in Manufacturing process under Nav a plus
Understanding in Accounting process a plus
Experience with integration to other applications, preferably Maycor
Warehouse process and ConnectShip knowledge a plus
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics - CRM or Web Development a plus
Experience with solution design, documentation and training
Can work independently with a set of given programming requirement from users
