The Release of Information Specialist position provides responds to each of the requests for medical record information from multiple requestors including patients, health care providers, attorneys, disability and subpoenas, as well as third party payers.
Requirements
The most successful candidate for the Release of Information Specialist position must have from 1 to 2 years of clinic or physician office experience. Besides, the specialist must have prior Health Information Specialist experience, awareness of basic medical terminology, ability to work with MS Office Suite and previous experience with basic release of information.
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent is a must.
