Project Analyst
Seeking a Project Analyst to work with end users to gather requirements around enhancements to a government system and then facilitating meetings to determine milestones, project schedules, and cost schedules to implement these enhancements. Specifically, he/she will:
Manage an Information Technology investment portfolio.
Work with government stakeholders to help them define their business requirements to help them justify the investment in IT technical solutions
Help develop a strategy to manage a portfolio investment process that includes defining requirements, projecting funding, outreach and communications, assessing project risk, and working with multiple stakeholders.
Other duties include:
Communicate regularly with numerous clients, both Government and Contractor.
Support an investment review process that includes customer outreach and communications, requirements definition, and facilitation and scorecard support.
Develop strategic documents such as Communications Plan, Stakeholder briefings, Plans of Actions and Milestones (POA&Ms)
Help manage schedules, develop briefings, facilitate requirements discussions with stakeholders
Coordinate meetings and provide support - develop briefings, coordinate logistics, agendas, meeting minutes, action items.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
4
years of project analysis around IT planning
Knowledge of the software development lifecycle
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize workload based on needs of the client.
Action oriented; Ability to drive results and outcomes.
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong client management skills.
Bachelor's Degree
DESIRED SKILLS:
Experience with Score Cards
FDA, healthcare, clinical, life sciences experience
General knowledge of both agile and waterfall development
General knowledge and experience with Sharepoint portals.
Preferred experience with federal government consulting
