Our client is looking for an experienced Clinical ER Manager to join their team!
Job Description:
Initiates change and improvements as indicated.
Identifies the educational needs of clinical personnel and makes recommendations for appropriate educational opportunities.
Investigates and analyzes patient or staff processes and intervenes to provide guidance and problem solving opportunities to insure patient care is not adversely affected.
Conducts concurrent audits of patient care records to determine documentation compliance of staff.
Assesses educational needs of staff and works with facility educator to provide inservices and appropriate learning opportunities.
Communicates regularly with Director to gather data, provide consideration, insure consistency in implementation of policies and procedures.
Demonstrates consistent awareness of individual patient conditions and unit acuity levels.
Assists in overseeing Departmental/ Hospital PI activity, under the direction of the Director, which includes timely collection of data, analysis, recommendations for improvement and evaluation of actions taken
Observes that patients receive quality of care in accordance with federal regulations, assists with education as needed.
Assists Director with patient concerns and issues. Appropriate communication to all responsible parties.
Holds 24 hour responsibility of unit.
Assumes responsibility during emergencies, and in the development and implementation of the Rapid Response Team. Is available to direct and guide personnel.
Demonstrates sound independent decision making by the ability to assess situations from a variety of perspectives, consider alternatives and choose the most appropriate course of action.
Directs the Department in a manner commensurate with the mission and values of the organization.
Demonstrates effective communication and problem solving skills with peers, subordinates and superiors and fosters teamwork.
Qualifications
Current GA RN License
Bachelor's Degree Required
Must have BLS, ACLS, and PALS
Must have at least 3 years of ER experience
Previous Clinical ER Manager experience required
