THE POSITION
The Cosmetic Interior Repair Technician is responsible for performing interior repairs and cosmetic work of vehicles including painting trim, dye or paint carpets, dye or repair seats and headliners.
QUALIFICATIONS
A high school diploma or equivalent, desired;
At least one (1) year of performing dent removals on vehicles;
Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance use for interior repairs and mathematical principles (adding, subtracting, dividing, multiplying and percentages) and application;
Ability to operate manual transmissions vehicles; read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language;
Must have a valid driver's license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
Preps and repairs scratches in trim panels/dash boards.
Preps and repairs holes in carpets/headliners.
Preps and repairs carpet stains by dying /painting.
Maintains constant communication and coordination with Used Car Service Manager if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
Follows laws pertaining to safe storage and use of products.
Follows all company safety policies, operations and practices.
Assists in all other areas of the service department, as needed.
Performs other administrative duties, as needed.
Maintains assigned workspace in an organized and clean manner.
Maintains tools and equipment in a proper state of repair.
Maintains a high level of grooming, hygiene, and uniform appearance.
Maintains high ethical standards in all actions.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME?
$11.50 per hour (may vary based on experience)
