It is the changeability of the Data Entry Technician to process all new and refill prescriptions. Data Entry Technician will be chargeable for opening orders as needed, verifying eligibility, proof and input prescriptions while maintaining productivity and quality standards. This individual will document correspondence and follow up in system. The person will prepare audit sheets and provide feedback to supervisor. Also she/he will open orders as needed, verify eligibility, cross check income documents with application (tax forms, statements, bank statements) to prove eligibility for the program, proof and input prescriptions following procedures while maintaining productivity and quality standards. The incumbent will approve incomplete or rejected scripts to appropriate department for resolution and track status in the system.

0-1 year of data entry experience

High school diploma/GED

Provides integrated pharmacy benefit management services including network-pharmacy claims processing; home delivery pharmacy services; specialty pharmacy benefit management, benefit-design consultation; drug-utilization review; formulary management; and medical and drug data analysis services to manage drug plans for health plans, self-insured employers and government agencies.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
