_SUMMARY_
Assists the parts and service department personnel by providing fast and efficient service in picking up, delivering, filling orders and pulling parts. Responsible for receiving and shipments for all departments in the store and maintaining well stocked and organized department.
_DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES_
_Process_
1. Receives all incoming shipments and verifies with packing slips, bill of lading to ensure the accuracy of paperwork and shipment. Notifies management with any damages or discrepancies of in coming shipments. Distributes shipments to correct departments in a timely manner.
2. Performs the pulling or filling of parts orders for deliveries or shipments.
3. Assists management with inventory control, bin checks, stocking of parts.
_Department/Team_
1. Assists as needed to picks up, delivers, or ships parts damage free to technicians or designated accounts when instructed by the parts or service departments.
_Customer Service_
Provide high level of customer service.
_Housekeeping_
1. Ensures that shipping areas of the parts department are clean, organized and properly stocked. Reorganizes stock parts as necessary to maintain efficiency of department.
2. May assist with ensuring parts vehicles are clean, safe and maintained in an operable condition.
. Performs other duties as assigned.
_MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES_
1. Must have at least one shipping, receiving and/or parts department related experience.
2. Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. Must be able to work with various levels within the organization in a professional manner.
3. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
4. Ability to understand and carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
5. Forklift certification may be required.
6. Valid Driver's License, acceptable driving license & at least 18 years of age required to drive company or customer vehicles.
_PHYSICAL DEMANDS_
1. Regularly required to talk, hear, reach with hands and arms, use hands to finger, handle, & feel; frequently required to stand and sit; & occasionally required to walk, climb, kneel & crouch.
2. Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
3. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
4. Able to work a consistent and predictable schedule as determined by business conditions and management.
_WORK ENVIRONMENT_
1. Frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals, moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.
2. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
