Job Duties: Provide operational support to customers for implementations and management of EMC solutions. Participate in design and operational execution of the customer's disaster recovery process as required. Perform infrastructure maintenance and necessary data migration, as required. Provide assistance to EMC technical teams in development of custom solutions and implementation preparation. This role will focus on developing Enterprise Cloud Computing capabilities, Integrated Solutions using Tier-1 EMC products including but not limited to VPLEX, VMAX3/VMAX2, VBLOCK, ViPR, XtremIO, VMWARE, Hybrid, Public and Private Cloud service types; IaaS, PaaS, and Saas. Leverage EMC Hybrid Cloud Architecture to drive evolution to 3rd Platform Operating Model and ITaaS Transformation for Enterprise customers. Responsible for delivering complex multi-product integrations like Software Define Data Centre using ViPR, MetroPoint, VMAX Cloud and VBlock Converged Infrastructure solution for clients with Mission Critical Data Centres spread across multiple geographies. May be assigned to various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
Job Requirements: Bachelors degree in Comp. Sci., Engin(any), Business, Math, Physics, or related technical field plus 24 months experience in job offered or computer related occupation. Education or experience must include: 1) Cloud Architect, 2) RESTAPI, 3) HPUX, 4) Symmetrix/VMAX Architecture, 5) Backup Networker/Avamar, 6) Clariion/VNX, 7) AIX. Experience may be gained concurrently. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.
EOEEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
