The selected candidate will act as a Program Manager for a USSOCOM/IC Research and Development opportunity supported by the Army Research Laboratory (ARL). Candidate will also support manufacturing at BAE Systems facilities and support at military bases as directed by the customer. Candidate shall have experience in Applied Research, Advanced Technology Development and Special Operations.
Primary duties and
Responsibilities:
Plan, direct and schedule the timely and successful completion of multiple task
orders.
Manage staffing requirements and oversee product development.
Maintain liaison with Government sponsor and end user.
Submit Quarterly Reports detailing program schedule status, funding status, problems/concerns, and resolution of those
problems/concerns.
This position is in support of a proposal effort and is contingent upon contract award. Anticipated award date is early
November 2015.
Position can be located in Aberdeen, MD or Manassas, VA.
Required Skills and Education
Ability to obtain/maintain the required security clearance
Bachelor's degree and at least fifteen (15) years progressive experience
At least five (5) years of experience as a DoD/military Program Manager
Preferred Skills and Education
Special Operations experience
Experience managing an engineering contract with rapid response requirements
