Responsible for the oversight of the overall operations of the Labor & Delivery, Newborn Nursery, Post-Partum and Neonatal Intensive Care units. He/she ensures that each nursing unit provides optimal patient care services; assures each unit meets all legal, regulatory, accreditation and certification requirements; and complies with all applicable policies, procedures, codes and standards of the organization. Assists in formulating budgets and adhering to established budgetary standards and directs and controls the purchase and inventory maintenance of supplies; participates in the department's planning, revenue analysis, budgeting, education and human resources activities. Participates and ensures performance improvement activities as initiated. Monitors overall staff performance. Consults with staff, physicians and CNO to ensure issues are addressed, policies and procedures are interpreted to ensure quality patient care.
-State of Florida Board of Nursing License required
-Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
-Bachelors Degree required or equivalent years of work experience, Masters Degree preferred.
-Current BLS Certification at time of hire.
-ACLS and NRP certified within 3 months of hire.
-Completion of an AWOHNN approved Basic Fetal Monitoring Course within 3 months of hire
-Management training or equivalent managerial experience preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
