Job Description
Responsible for the support of the Summary of Benefits application/system and associated third party software. Provide third-level help desk support and application monitoring, assist the on-boarding/project teams with the implementation of new documents, assist development team with application testing and quality assurance and the controlled deployment of new code into the production environment. Ensure end user satisfaction through active troubleshooting and through resolution of problems.
Responsibilities
Work is typically performed under general supervision, receiving some guidance from manager/supervisor about the work that needs to be completed and how to complete some assignments. Able to exercise moderate level of discretion and latitude in completing tasks and prioritizing work. Work is typically completed by following established policies and procedures.
Third-Level Help Desk Support: Under general supervision, respond to, research and resolve routine to moderately complex issues as reported by users. Monitor applications/systems to ensure they meet or exceed expected performance levels and research and engage the appropriate individuals/teams to resolve any issues. Monitor customer document changes in order to identify if users may be making changes that could have negative consequences in regards to the quality of their documents
Document On-boarding: Under general supervision, assist the on-boarding/project teams with the setup and confirmation of new or existing documents in accordance with standard practices and guidelines.
Document Content Changes: As an application expert, provide assistance with making complex edits to document content in accordance with standard practices and guidelines.
Application Development/Testing: Assist the development team with testing new features/bug fixes as well as offering input/feedback on requirements and/or suggested changes.
Application Changes/Deployment: In coordination with the development team, assist with the creation and review of release notes and schedule meetings to review the changes with the internal users/project teams. Assist with the controlled deployment and verification of changes to the production environment.
Communication: Provides input to peers, management and customers for recommendations and alternate solutions and/or improvements. Conveys problems, solutions, updates and project status to their peers, customers and management.
Documentation: Document support issues and solutions using the standard company or department methods and software.
Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.

Bachelor degree in discipline related to functional work or role OR demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of applicable work experience.
Able to demonstrate good problem-solving skills and appropriately apply proven solutions. Consistently deliver prescribed outcomes in a timely and accurate manner with appropriate guidance.
Apply existing processes and procedures to solve problems and may receive guidance for problems that are non-routine.
Requires excellent PC skills and extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Adobe Professional.
Intermediate skill level in at least one programming language.
Intermediate skill level in basic HTML and/or XML.
Show ability to quickly learn and effectively use specialized software related to the position.
Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written. Able to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people when completing work assignments.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
