Responsible for the continued preventative maintenance, failure analysis, and equipment and facility design for an assigned asset base. Also accountable the coordination of well review meetings, failure meetings, and oversight of the Chemical Technician program.
Schedule and oversee preventative maintenance measures for producing assets.
Act as a liaison between field production personnel and Engineering Technology Group.
Report and analyze surface and downhole equipment failures.
Coordinate GAS STAR.
Design production equipment and facilities.
Organize and facilitate well review and failure meetings.
Provide technical oversight and guidance to Well and Chemical Technicians.
Draft technical reports for engineering and management personnel.
Make frequent visits to the field as determined by workload and activity.
Perform all duties in accordance with Chesapeake's Environmental, Health and Safety Guidelines.
Other Duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:

Bachelors of Science in Petroleum, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering

5-10 years experience in Production Operations
Artificial lift experience
Ability to use rigorous logic, critical thinking skills and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions.
Understanding and knowledge of completions, production, workover operations.
Extensive knowledge of surface and downhole equipment and techniques.
Excellent written and verbal English communications skills.
Able to effectively manage time and prioritize projects in order to meet established deadlines.
Demonstrate basic computer knowledge through effective use of a personal computer including Microsoft Office applications. Able to learn company specific applications.
Able to work and communicate effectively with all levels of co-workers, clients, and other external contacts.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
