Cobham is seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join a dynamic multi-site HR team, specifically focusing in the near-term on a business-critical integration project.
Within this project the HRBP is accountable and has responsibility for the management and delivery of Integration Project activities and is a key member of the Business Integration Team, leading the HR and Communications work stream.
This is a substantial integration project, affecting multiple sites within the Business Unit (BU). The HRBP will address processes, systems and structures and work with the BU Director of Human Resources and other key business and functional stakeholders to successfully deliver the project goals.
Success factors will include: exhibiting good project management practices - adhering to cost and schedule; identifying and implementing key efficiencies in the organizational design and project decisions; ensuring a coherent and consistent approach is applied, aligned with Cobham HR practices; and that a practical HR plan is in place that anticipates and meets the people needs of the affected sites. There will be particular emphasis on communications (internal and external), integration and structure, retention of key talent, rewards, and project plan development and execution.

Responsibilities:
Develop required knowledge of the affected businesses to fully understand the organizational impact across all functions, and assess impact on the affected organizations and their respective workforce.
Understand the long term business plan to obtain synergies.
Collaborate with other work stream leads on the Integration Team and business leadership to identify and deliver on project action items, deploying approved HR solutions for the business, to enhance efficiency, organization capability and overall effectiveness.
Working with the BU Director of Human Resources, manage the HR integration initiatives to ensure consistency with Cobham's practices in business transfer, communications and project execution strategies.
Contributes to the development of external and internal communications materials and puts into action an employee-focused change management plan.
Manages the implementation of compensation, reward, and retention strategies to ensure business continuity throughout the project.
Reviews effectiveness of employee integration activities on an ongoing basis, identifies opportunities for improvement, and provides feedback. Analyzes data and participates in Phase Gate reviews on a regular basis.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field of study.
Minimum 5 years' generalist experience in all areas of HR, including resourcing, employee relations, benefits management.
Experience in technology, manufacturing, or aerospace and defense.
Experience working with cross functional teams in a matrixed environment.
Demonstrated experience consulting with and advising senior business leaders and HR leaders.
Experience in integrating workforces / change initiatives / site closure / or similar workforce actions.
Fully computer literate including Excel & PowerPoint at Intermediate level.
High degree of problem solving abilities.
Clear, concise and persuasive written and oral presentation skills.
Must be able to travel up to 30%, primarily domestic with occasional international travel.
Preferred
Experience:
Strongly prefer experience in Project Management.
Master's Degree.
