Vinfen supports thousands of adolescents and adults with psychiatric, developmental and behavioral disabilities at more than 300 sites with 2,600 employees in eastern Massachusetts and Connecticut.
We are seeking a compassionate, caring, dynamic staff to provide services to clients living with psychiatric illnesses. Awake Overnight Counselors ensure the safety and well-being of the clients. Awake Overnight program staff provide direct support around medication administration and management as well as meal preparation and activities of daily living. The goal for many clients living in group home settings is to be able to live as independently as possible and the staff assist clients in building the skills needed to do so. Additional responsibilities include nightly cleaning and filing.
Schedule: Sun, Weds, Thurs, Sat 10:00 pm-8:00 am
To succeed in this role you will have good time management skills, good writing skills and prior Human Services experience. A High School diploma/GED required but a bachelor's degree in a Human Services related field preferred.
